The Research Centre hosted a meeting of the EBU RecSys group, which deals with the customization of content and the study and development of recommendation systems for broadcasters.

Seminar has been organized by Centre for Research and Technological (CRIT) Innovation, on March 24th 2016, in collaboration with the Order of Engineers of the Province of Turin.

On occasion of the closing ceremony of EXPO 2015 Rai and TIM have offered experimenting participants to test the potential of the next-generation mobile TV that thanks to TIM’s 4G network allows access to live and on demand high definition content

This year the Research and Technological Innovation Center presented 4 items at the Conference held in Amsterdam at IBC 2015, the leading international convention along with NAB Show in Las Vegas on broadcasting technologies and new media.

Also this year the Research Centre has actively participated in the technical workshop EBU MDN (Metadata Developer Network), held in Geneva on 9th and 10th June, presenting three contributions.
