The 9th of  last March, the Kick Off meeting of AutiTec Project: Technological Solutions For Autism took place at the headquarter of the project partner Regional Cluster Foundation Lombrado Technologies for living Environments, located in the Lecco Chamber of Commerce, founding member of TAV Foundation.

Maurizio Montagnuolo presented a paper entitled “Real Time Semantic Enrichment of Broadcast Content in the Big Data Age” (Maurizio Montagnuolo, Alberto Messina, Nicolò Bidotti, Paolo Platter, Alessio Bosca) at the IEEE International Conference Big data 2017.

Maurizio Montagnuolo presented two papers entitled “An Efficient Visual Search Engine for Cultural Broadcast Archives” and “Applying Natural Language Processing to Speech Transcriptions for Automated Analysis of Educational Video Broadcasts”.

Rai Centre for Research and Innovation of Technology presented its research on linear radio personalisation at the New Radio Day 2017 EBU event. Although linear radio represents the most popular and profitable form of radio, new ways of listening are gaining ground thanks to advent of new technologies: listening on tablets and smartphones, audio-on-demand, voice controlled devices, just to name a few of them.

New Radio Day proposes updates on the innovation work of European radios every year.
