Mario Muratori Techniques for the stereoscopic vision Since its invention, the stereoscopy had faced the problem of carrying the correct stereoscopic component to the relevant eye. This problem is not yet overcome: many methods had been proposed, but none of them seems to be the best for any application. In this paper the basic principles, the possible applications to the television and the main characteristics of the main stereoscopic techniques are discussed. |
