DVB-H and Mobile TV: new contents for new ways of fruition
DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting – Handheld) allows to receive TV programmes on handheld terminals with broadcast technology, overcoming the problems relevant to the use of cellular networks for mobile TV applications. The increasing maturity of this technology moves the attention to the new services and contents the new medium is going to convey. The following paper describes the sociologic investigation on Mobile TV, carried out during 2006 in Rai Research Centre.

Techniques for the stereoscopic vision
Since its invention, the stereoscopy had faced the problem of carrying the correct stereoscopic component to the relevant eye. This problem is not yet overcome: many methods had been proposed, but none of them seems to be the best for any application.
In this paper the basic principles, the possible applications to the television and the main characteristics of the main stereoscopic techniques are discussed.
