In mid-September, the iPress Conference 2024 will be held in Ghent: on the first day, September 16th, the Preservation and Migration Commission of FIAT/IFTA will host a workshop on the preservation of audiovisual content.

These could be seen simply as any other type of document, even though they have specific preservation properties and challenges.
AV content is practically everywhere and cannot be overlooked by those involved in digital preservation.
During the workshop, the main strategies for migration and digital preservation will be illustrated, and case studies will be presented and discussed with the audience.
