5GCity – Project Meeting

Tuesday, January 16 at the Rai headquarters in Turin in Via Cavalli will be held a meeting of the project funded by the European Community “5GCity”.
The project deals, among other things, with creating 5G coverage areas in three European cities: Lucca, Bristol and Barcelona. Within the project Rai is the leader of the “UHD Video Distribution & Immersive Services” use case.
The Italian partners of the project will take part in the meeting (Rai, Lucca Municipality, WindTre, Italtel, Comunicare Digitale, Nextworks) that will focus mainly on the organization of future activities that will take place in collaboration with the city of Lucca and in particular in the scope of Giacomo Puccini and music in general (see also Lucca Summer Festival) and activities related to the Lucca Comics & Games event 2018.
